Chuck Martin - Guitar & Vocals
Chuck Martin grew up in the triad area and has been writing and performing since his early teens. He has entertained all over the southeast opening for such groups as the Doobie Brothers, The Rasberries (Eric Carmen), and Steve Wariner. Playing every kind of venue from clubs to coliseums, and numerous music styles, Chuck has proved staying power in this ever changing world of commercial music.
In addition to playing with local and regional bands, Chuck has worked as a session guitarist for the legendary Ray Stevens in Nashville. He also co-wrote "The Feelings Not Right Again" with Ray and continues to use his studio skills in the production of his own music and as a free lance producer and studio musician. He has also been a performer and music director for productions at The Barn Dinner Theatre, Centennial Station, and The Broach Theatre.
Growing up in a musical family, Chuck was exposed to the music business at an early age. His father, "Slim" was a country music DJ and entertainer and along with his mother Wilma played with Charlie Monroe, Bill Monroe's brother, in the early 1950's.
Chuck recently returned from Liverpool, England where he played with Wonderwall at International Beatle week.
Chuck is married, has two children, and one granddaughter and is a District Sales Coordinator for Aflac.
